Sin City part I

Arrived to Sin City with class ;) I got to experience a lot of things I've never done before such as going to Vegas and riding in a limo (3x). Attended a Jabbawockeez show and even got pulled onto the stage. (totally embarassing--- you just had to be there to see..maybe I'll post a picture of it later). Partied till the sun came out at the Marquee with Dash Berlin performing. An amazing and very talented DJ from Europe. I had such a fun time on this trip with great friends and a wonderful boyfriend. He's the one that surprised me with the limo :)

 It's nothin fancy but it sure was a cheap stay with an extra comfy bed.

ended the night with a water show in front of Bellagio. Soo gorgeous!

Work has officially started and with the lack of sleep I had over the weekend, I am so pooped. I'm trying to get back into my regular routine again. That includes getting into a workout routine, an eating diet and to lay off on the trips and start saving money.

Home sweet home

Home sweet home! Although it's super nice to travel around everywhere, nothing beats sleeping in your own bed. I'm back home and leaving again Thursday to Viva las Vegas! I loved the scenery of Boston and getting to ride the subway everywhere I went. I sometimes wish instead of driving in cars, we had subways to get from one place to another. Boston had amazing food such as their lobster rolls. *drools* and they had one of my favorite flowers planted everywhere, hydrangeas. Me and the boyfriend took lots of pictures. I havent uploaded any from his camera but Ill leave you with a few of my favorite pictures captured from my camera.

I can't believe after I come home from Vegas, I have to start work again already. Time flies but it's time I go make a difference in these kids lives. I love what I do so I'm excited to go back. :)

Relish

My cousin and I went to a place called Relish. It was a cute little sandwich shop that sold really good desserts. The purpose of her taking me here was for the macaroons. $1.25 a pop. That's cheap compared to other places I've visited so far. Sandwiches were a little pricier than what I usually pay for and it tasted like just an average sandwich. I would probably go there again only for the rice krispy treats (they made it with brown sugar), the macaroons and the strawberry lemonade.

Blank Canvas

It's that time of year again! I can't believe school is about to start. The summer just zoomed by with a quickness. Dropped by my classroom today to start setting up for the new school year. Spent about 6 hours trying to get as much done and I'm nowhere near finished. This is my before picture as I first stepped my foot back into the class for my 2nd year of teaching. After picture will be posted up as soon as I am 80% done!!!

Glad I have Boston to look forward to this upcoming Thursday! This is going to be a very busy month for me!

Red Scallops

Got these cute pair of scalloped shorts awhile back but didn't know what to wear it with. Until just the other day, as I was getting ready for lunch....I opened up my drawer and both this top and these shorts were laying beside each other. I thought to myself..."hmm...this may actually work together." Sure enough I tried it on and VOILA! It worked! Don't you just love that feeling?

Tomorrow will be quite a treat for me as I will be doing a fun shoot with my long time friends, Kelly and Kat as their next Paper Doll. Paper Doll Theory is their blog if you want to check out what they're all about. They basically added a new twist to this blogging world where they reinvent one's wardrobes into a fresh perspective. I mean, have you ever had days where you looked into your closet and can't find anything to wear? or thought to yourself, "I've worn this..can't wear it again"...or "oh this top was soo last year, I cannot dare walk out the door wearing this." Well, I've had plenty of those days so I cannot wait to welcome them into my closet to give me new, fresh ideas on how to work my clothes.

Austin Getaway

Took a little quick getaway to Austin to visit my best friend for her birthday. Celebrated it at Lake Travis during the day. Rented some jetskis and a boat to relax in. Afterwards, we had dinner at good ol Trudy's then ended the night on 6th street.

Had brunch at Olivia's. OMG, I had a mouth orgasm after taking a bite out of my dish. I ordered the 6 oz. chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes + scrambled eggs. To top the meal off, my boyfriend and I ordered a shot of Virgin Bloody Marys.  My mouth waters when I think of it.

I came home with a fairly good tan, met new people and created new memories. Overall, Austin never fails to amaze me. I love that city <3

I cannot believe school is about to start up again. I have approximately 3 more weekends to enjoy with 2 vacations lined up ahead of me. Boston and Vegas, get ready for me because here I come!
